Bradford Blue and Gold Champions
The Hornets took top honors at the 'Bradford Blue and Gold U13 Select Tournament' held November 3-5th 2023.
Hornets went 5-0 in the tournament against strong competitors including a nail biting 2-1 victory over the Ted Reeve Tornadoes in the semi-finals, which ended in a shootout after an intense 3 on 3 overtime period. The Hornets prevailed in the shootout to earn a spot in the finals.
The Hornets would then be matched against the Nepean Raiders for the finals, and took the victory 7-0 to be crowned the champions.
The Hornets only allowed 2 goals the whole tournament, and showed they were a force to be reckoned with.
